When to use slides in presentations?

When you prepared for your last presentation, how much time did you spend on preparing your slides vs. how much time did you spend on rehearsing the delivery of your content? 

Most people spend way too much time focusing on the slides. That is not what is going to make you memorable. We will never walk away from your talk and discuss your slides. However, if you lay down an awesome presentation that makes us feel stuff, then we will remember you. 

I urge you to rehearse, rehearse and rehearse. Make your performance more important than your slides, and we might remember you.
